Once upon a time…
In 2019, I began to write a story about our special holiday, Brothers’ Day. It was a passion project intended just for them and our family. But in 2023, I celebrated a big birthday and started to think about what the next chapter(s) of my life might look like...what happened on January 17, 2024 I can only describe as being struck by lightning – in the best way possible!
My grandsons were my first inspiration to becoming a children’s book author. I loved reading to them when they were young! Now that they’re getting older and reading on their own, I enjoy watching their love of reading flourish.
I attended a children’s book writing webinar, then signed up to take a Masterclass for aspiring authors. Within five minutes of the first module of the Masterclass I was hooked! I wrote two more books that same week!
And now I have become the embodiment of the expression:
“She believed she could, so she did.”
Having built a professional career in marketing and communications, it was now time to channel my creativity into something personal and profound. This is how GiGi Tales Books was born!
