Local Author Showcase
I’m delighted to have been invited to participate in Shrewsbury’s Local Author Showcase at the beautiful Shrewsbury Public Library on Wednesday evening, June 24 beginning at 6:00 pm. SPL is thrilled to be featuring the literary works of more authors than ever before - including none other than me!
The Showcase will take place in the library’s large meeting room with overflow tables set up in the long hallway. To make the evening even sweeter, the library will be providing ice cream for attendees and authors alike. Yummm! Bring the whole family - especially the kiddos!
Sutton Fourth Celebration - ArtIsans & Authors Fair
Come for the parade; stay for the fireworks. And in between, enjoy a day full of family-friendly activities including food trucks, live entertainment, and the Arts & Authors Fair at the Sutton High School.
Activities include complimentary face painting, balloon twisting, puppet shows, family games, AND an opportunity to meet local authors and artists, including GiGi Tales Books.

The Butterfly Experience & Market
Once known as Sunflower Farm Fest, SummitWynds has transformed this annual event into an enchanting Butterfly Experience. Featuring sunflowers, zinnias and wildflowers, enjoy a delightful day surrounded by nature’s wonders, wander through colorful gardens, and meet local authors and artisans like me! Meet the Author - on the Cape
Heading to Cape Cod this summer? Me too! In collaboration with Eight Cousins Bookshop, the Falmouth Public Library (main branch) has invited me to share my picture book collection on Saturday afternoon, August 15 beginning at 3pm. Kids of all ages are invited to join me as I read one or more of my books, lead an Ask the Author discussion, and share activities including coloring sheets, word searches, and seek & finds.
Enjoy the beach in the morning but head to the Library in the afternoon. Cool down in the A/C and surround yourself and the little ones with the literary magic they can find within the pages of a vast collection of books to broaden their imaginations - and their vocabulary.
The Annual Harvest Craft & Artisan Fair
Brookfield Orchards if a family-owned and family-friendly destination known for pick-your-own apples, a country store, and a snack bar featuring their famous apple dumplings and much more. And for two days in mid-September, they will host their 10th Annual Harvest Craft Fair.
Bring the whole family to the Orchard to browse through 90+ artists, artisans, and authors (like me!), enjoy food trucks, wagon rides, and live music.
NOTE: I’ll be back to the Orchard again on Saturday, September 26th for the Local Author Fair - more information on this event COMING SOON!
7th Annual Sidewalk Sale

Millbury Farmers Market
Back for its second season, the Millbury Farmers Market will kick-off the 2026 season on Thursday afternoon, June 18th at 3pm. GiGi Tales Books will be there sharing children’s books and hoping to be able to launch and add a NEW book by the end of the Market season in September/October.

Come to Tidepool Bookshop on Sunday, April 19 at 2pm to meet local author Allison Hall share these two heart-warming, imaginative, and joy-filled picture books as part of Tidepool’s weekly KidSundays.
H.A.M. Literary Festival
The H.A.M. Gift Shop will once again invite readers young and old to the Literary Festival on Saturday, March 28th at the Fitchburg Armory. And this year, I’ll be there!
Take a drive to North Worcester County and check out this event - admission is FREE.
Connecticut Book Festival
First CT Book Festival of 2026 will be held at The Velvet Mill, 22 Bayview Avenue in Stonington, CT. GiGi Tales Books will be there along with 44 other authors. Visit the Author Fair on March 21 from 11am - 4pm.
Local Author Expo
Back by popular demand, the Friends of the Millbury Public Library (MPL) have once again invited local authors like me to a meet and greet Local Author Expo! Come share in this literary event and support the MPL as well as National Read Across America Day (celebrated on March 2nd) to promote children’s literacy and encourage children (of all ages) to read.

Family Book Reading

Rushford & Sons Brewhouse has partnered with Fiddle & Find Children’s Consignment Boutique to host a Family Book Reading event at their Holliston brewhouse. I will be reading my latest picture book, If I Were Queen for the Day - an imaginative “day in the life” story appropriate to help celebrate World Read Aloud Day (albeit a few days late). Come join me for some grins and giggles!
Author Holiday Stroll
The Author Stroll is one of the first events to take place at the newly renovated former Chicopee Library which - on December 11th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. - will be a festive literary wonderland. Come enjoy some holiday cheer and listen to live music to lift your spirits, all while meeting local authors. Books make great gifts!
Millbury Chain of LighTs
Join in the holiday festivities throughout Millbury on Sunday, December 7 for the Chain of Lights. I’ll be located at the Felter’s Mill main lobby at 22 Water’s Street, sharing my GiGi Tales Books. Many organizations and businesses around town will be open featuring food, prizes and MORE! The day culminates in the lighting of the tree at the Asa Waters Mansion
