Working with Allison Hall to arrange a meaningful author visit for my 1st grade classroom was an absolute pleasure. She was willing to be flexible around a restrictive school schedule and came prepared to use all of the time we allotted in effective ways.

Allison doesn’t just know how to write, she knows how to talk to children. During her book share and discussions, she made my students feel seen and appreciated for the ideas and questions they contributed. Her vulnerability and openness to sharing her experiences of authorship and writing with my class reinforced teaching points I have shared all year about what it means to be a writer.
